A fine pair of Coalport, Regency Candlesticks, Painted and gilded, with alternating bands of hand-painted flowers and cobalt and gilt scrolls. CBD marked to the base of the sticks. Coalport very often sold items under the CBD brand – appropriate given that the factory was in Coalbrookdale.
Condition.
In very good antique condition. A 3mm hairline to the underside of one of the integral sconce of one of the sticks. A firing flaw to the interior of the other sconce, a chip and small filled chip to the base of the other stick.
Dimensions.
14cm in height.
We use recycled packaging. It doesn't look very pretty, but it helps our environmental profile!
