Description.
A fine trio in this simple, but attractive, pattern. The description of the piece in the pattern book is 'Shallow tea bowl. Gilt rims. Scattered chantilly sprigs over body of bowl'. It seems unlikely that the incised twist moulded examples being sold by us could be described as shallow-so that the pattern presumably utilised, originally, a different cup configuration. See the illustration of the cup shape as item number 46 of the cup shape appendix to Twitchett. The teabowl shape is, interestingly, not listed in the index. Gilder number 8 in puce for William Longdon.

Condition.
In excellent antique condition. Minor handling wear, commensurate with age and use.

Dimensions.
Saucer 14cm in diameter.
Cup-6cm in height
Bowl-8cm in diameter.
